Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shedding the frantic, aggressive rockabilly persona of his early career with the Rock and Roll Trio, the singer fully embraces the role of a polished teen idol. Draped in the slick, string-heavy orchestrations of Snuff Garrett, his smoothed-out vocal delivery perfectly aligned with the heavily produced pop-country crossover aesthetic of the early 1960s.
