Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fulfilling a long-held personal ambition, the Man in Black explicitly convinced his new label to allow him to record an album entirely dedicated to his deep, rural Christian faith. The collection balances standard Protestant hymns with a handful of original, gospel-inspired compositions, delivered with his signature, unadorned baritone gravitas. It set a precedent for his career-long commitment to exploring spiritual themes, regardless of commercial pressure or mainstream pop trends.
