Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in the mid-sixties but shelved for years due to its controversial title and chaotic nature, this legendary British freakbeat album was finally released stateside. The bizarre production overlays the band's aggressively raw, proto-punk studio tracks with fake, hysterical live crowd noise sourced from the Beatles' film 'A Hard Day's Night'. It stands as a gloriously manic, deeply subversive artifact from one of the UK's most notoriously unruly mod acts.
