Album Notes & Community Reviews

Jon Hassell continues his visionary 'Fourth World' explorations, meticulously blending traditional ethnic music with cutting-edge electronics and ambient soundscapes. Using dense tape loops, 'Aka / Darbari / Java' processes his heavily treated trumpet through surreal, tropical atmospheres, forging a deeply mysterious, avant-garde fusion of global rhythms and calm psychedelia.
