Album Notes & Community Reviews
Constructed from live performances meticulously edited and enhanced in the studio, the avant-garde trumpeter revives his signature 'Fourth World' aesthetic. Hassell layers his breathy, heavily processed horn phrasing over deep dub basslines and hypnotic tribal ambient percussion, forging an evocative, highly spiritual urban soundscape.
