Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hendricks wrote all ten tracks and recorded them in three weeks of September sessions with producer Teo Macero, backed by a band including Pony Poindexter, Joe Newman and Al Grey. The set transfers his vocalese method from the group arrangements of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross to a solo blues programme of his own compositions.
