Recorded live in Spoleto, 'Good People in Times of Evil' unites bassist Jonas Hellborg, guitarist Shawn Lane and percussionist V. Selvaganesh in the first Hellborg and Lane collaboration built on Indian music. Across six tracks produced by Hellborg, jazz fusion improvisation absorbs Carnatic rhythm, with guest Ustad Sultan Khan adding sarangi to 'Bhakti Ras'.
