Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing his absolute rejection of the abrasive proto-punk sound that defined his early career, the idiosyncratic frontman delivered a relentlessly gentle, acoustic-driven collection. The songs rely heavily on childlike innocence, doo-wop harmonies, and painfully earnest lyricism about love and nature. The unashamedly naive and vulnerable approach further solidified his polarizing yet deeply beloved cult status.
