Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning after a notable four-year recording hiatus, the perpetually eccentric songwriter delivered one of the warmest, most unabashedly joyous albums of his extensive career. 'Jonathan Sings!' completely sheds any remaining punk rock aggression in favor of stripped-down, acoustic-driven doo-wop and deeply sincere, childlike romanticism. The exceptionally sweet, critically lauded release heavily anticipated the earnest simplicity of the burgeoning twee pop movement.
