Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in London by the former Monomono frontman and Fela Kuti collaborator, this explosive set is a prime artifact of the African funk golden age. Searing Moog synthesizer leads weave in and out of relentless, polyrhythmic disco-funk grooves and biting social commentary. Rediscovered and reissued in the 21st century, its infectious, dancefloor-ready urgency remains remarkably potent.
