Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by David Crosby, Joni Mitchell's debut album is an incredibly stark, beautifully unadorned showcase of her uniquely complex acoustic guitar tunings and soaring soprano. Also known as 'Song to a Seagull', the record is remarkably peaceful and intensely melodic, conveying deeply pastoral, wonderfully mellow reflections on nature and folklore.
