Album Notes & Community Reviews
A deeply heartfelt tribute and collaboration with the legendary Charles Mingus, recorded during the final months of his life. Joni Mitchell completely immerses herself in remarkably warm, nocturnal jazz fusion and post-bop rhythms, weaving highly poetic, passionate vocals through a deeply mellow, playful, and highly sophisticated tribute.
