Album Notes & Community Reviews

On his sophomore album, Jean-Christophe Vallerand continues to deconstruct our digital reality into a fragmented and self-referential sonic narrative. 'Mise en Abyme' is a meticulously crafted sound collage, built from thousands of micro-samples and exploring concepts of memory, selfhood, and cinematic recursion. It's a challenging, anxious, and intellectually rigorous work of modern plunderphonics.
