Kleinkunst

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Joost's tenth studio album, 'Kleinkunst', is built upon a high-energy production style, primarily from Tantu Beats, that fuses gabber, happy hardcore, and Eurotrance. [1] Reflecting his growing international tour schedule, the album incorporates more English lyrics and features a wide array of collaborators, including Anouk on the gabber-rock track 'Zonder Jou', as well as German artists Mark Forster and HorsegiirL. [1] Upon its New Year's Day release, the album received mixed reviews, with critics praising its energetic tone but noting that its extensive length sometimes detracted from its cohesion.
