Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Rio-born luminary deepens his patented alchemy of acoustic samba strumming and muscular American funk rhythms. Bolstered by brassy, exuberant arrangements and soulful backing vocalists, the grooves presented here are both impossibly tight and undeniably joyous. It stands as a pinnacle of his late-70s output, consistently compelling the listener to move.
