Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a vibrant return to his upbeat signature style, 'Salve simpatia' heavily integrates slick, late-seventies funk and disco production techniques with traditional Brazilian rhythms. Jorge Ben delivers remarkably infectious, dancefloor-ready arrangements driven by his distinctive rhythmic acoustic guitar playing. The record successfully captures the euphoric, tropical optimism that defined his most commercially dominant era.
