Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Mexican multi-instrumentalist blends pre-Columbian acoustic instrumentation with cutting-edge analog synthesis on his pioneering debut. 'Ek-Tunkul' creates a deeply spiritual, mysterious tribal ambient atmosphere, heavily incorporating indigenous flutes, percussion, and modern electronic sequencers. It established his legacy as a leading figure in the Latin American electronic and esoteric music movements.
