Album Notes & Community Reviews
Intentionally titled as a reintroduction to her artistic identity, 'Introducing Joss Stone' finds the British vocalist stepping into a more contemporary R&B framework. Helmed largely by producer Raphael Saadiq, the sessions yielded a bright, Motown-inspired pop-soul aesthetic accented by modern urban rhythms. The recording successfully bridged the gap between classic blue-eyed soul and late-2000s commercial pop.
