Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length by Oslo's JR Ewing is a foundational document of Scandinavian screamo, compressing noise rock dissonance and sass-era post-hardcore into short, abrasive songs. Formed in the late 1990s Norwegian hardcore scene, the band plays with a live-wire urgency that its later records would expand but never soften.
