Album Notes & Community Reviews

While occasionally criticized for its extensive studio vocal overdubs, this blistering 1979 release captures the band at their hungry, aggressive peak. It played a pivotal role in popularizing heavy metal globally and laid the heavy, fast-paced foundations for the leather-and-studs aesthetic of the upcoming decade.
