Album Notes & Community Reviews

A breathtaking departure from his usual high-speed electric fusion, 'Mountain Stream' showcases the Finnish guitar prodigy in a profoundly intimate, entirely acoustic setting. Jukka Tolonen weaves intricate, classically-influenced fingerpicking with pastoral progressive folk and subtle jazz sensibilities. The purely instrumental album stands as a gorgeously meditative, virtuosic triumph of Scandinavian acoustic music.
