Album Notes & Community Reviews

Julia Holter's fourth album, 'Have You in My Wilderness', is a work of ornate chamber pop, distinguished by its accessible melodies and lush arrangements featuring harpsichord, strings, and horns. Co-produced with Cole M.G.N., the record brings Holter's vocals to the forefront for the first time, set against a backdrop inspired by the warmth of 1960s balladry. Departing from the unified narrative of her previous work, the album unfolds as a collection of individual stories and intimate love songs, blending literary influences with stream-of-consciousness lyricism.
