Album Notes & Community Reviews

Julian Cope's sophomore solo effort is a deeply eccentric, highly melodic plunge into raw neo-psychedelia and garage folk. Recorded during a period of intense personal instability, the album balances incredibly playful, surreal pop hooks with moments of cryptic, manic vulnerability. 'Fried' is a uniquely humorous, psychedelic, and notoriously unhinged masterpiece of the British underground.
