Album Notes & Community Reviews

Supported by her former Eric's Trip bandmate Rick White and Mount Eerie's Phil Elverum, the Canadian singer-songwriter's eighth solo album features a grittier, more electric approach than her usual hushed acoustic work. The lo-fi indie rock instrumentation perfectly complements her intimate, confessional lyrical style and distinctively gentle vocal delivery. It serves as a confident, slightly more aggressive showcase of her enduring indie-folk sensibilities.
