Album Notes & Community Reviews

Significantly expanding her typically sparse, acoustic sound, the Memphis songwriter introduced full-band instrumentation, encompassing drums, bass, and synthesizers. Thematically, the deeply confessional record deals heavily with the fallout of a severe relapse into substance abuse and the subsequent crisis of faith. It serves as her most sonically robust and emotionally devastating solo work.
