Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released shortly after the legendary Mississippi juke joint operator's passing, this profound collection captures the very essence of his hypnotic, cyclical hill country style. The raw, unpolished recording highlights Kimbrough's driving, rhythmic guitar vamps and moaning vocal delivery, creating an intoxicating and deeply rhythmic blues experience.
