Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released posthumously on Fat Possum Records, this deeply hypnotic collection highlights the unparalleled mastery of the Mississippi bluesman. The remarkably lo-fi recordings capture Kimbrough's signature style: incredibly repetitive, deeply melancholic electric guitar grooves paired with highly passionate, remarkably raw vocal phrasing.
