Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released just months before the Mississippi bluesman's passing, this album is a towering, profoundly hypnotic testament to his unique Hill Country style. Supported heavily by deep, droning basslines and unrelenting polyrhythms, Kimbrough's intricate guitar fingerpicking and weathered voice deliver a raw, intensely mesmerizing juke-joint experience.
