Album Notes & Community Reviews

After a heavily publicized period of personal controversy, the Canadian pop star executed a massive commercial comeback driven heavily by cutting-edge electronic production. Collaborating with Skrillex and Diplo, the album popularized the tropical house sound within mainstream pop, utilizing pitched-up vocal chops and dancehall rhythms. The massive success of the singles successfully transitioned him into a mature, adult-oriented pop era.
