Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran pop star steps back into the spotlight with a glossy, highly romantic fusion of contemporary R&B, infectious dance-pop, and subtle nu-disco grooves. Anchored by highly sensual, rhythmically driven production, the lyrical themes lean deeply into passionate love and late-night party hedonism. 'Everything I Thought It Was' is a slick, undeniably melodic commercial pop release.
