Album Notes & Community Reviews

Offering an unvarnished glimpse into rural Southern music traditions, 'A Dead Beat Guitar and the Mississippi Blues' highlights raw, deeply rhythmic acoustic fingerpicking. K.C. Douglas delivers authentic, rough-hewn vocals that perfectly complement his driving, locomotive guitar style. The record stands as a vital preservation of the original Delta aesthetic in the post-war era.
