Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as an intimate tribute to her fellow Canadian songwriters, k.d. lang offers remarkably lush, jazz-inflected renditions of tracks by Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and Leonard Cohen. The album is incredibly calm and soft, anchored entirely by her flawless vocal phrasing and beautifully understated, pastoral orchestration.
