Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Everybody Down' is a gripping narrative concept album that plays out like a novel set to music. Poet and rapper Kae Tempest weaves a complex, interconnected story about a cast of London characters dealing with love, drugs, and poverty. The delivery is urgent and precise, riding over Dan Carey's propulsive electronic beats, creating a visceral and deeply human portrait of modern city life.
