The Book of Traps and Lessons

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Working closely with legendary producer Rick Rubin over a five-year period, the British poet and spoken-word artist strips away the dense electronic beats of previous records for a stark, incredibly vulnerable acoustic approach. The album focuses purely on Tempest's intense, rhythmic storytelling, tackling themes of societal disillusionment, existential dread, and the profound need for human empathy. It is an emotionally gripping, fiercely articulate call for connection.
