Album Notes & Community Reviews

Enlisting production duties from Mark Ronson, the third studio album by the Leeds quintet attempts to significantly beef up their punchy post-punk revival sound for larger arenas. The record heavily incorporates brass sections, synthesizers, and massive, sing-along choruses, featuring unexpected guest appearances from Lily Allen and Sway. While highly polished, it signaled the beginning of their slow decline from peak mid-2000s indie-rock prominence.
