Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the ashes of their previous incarnation as Ancestor, the Finnish outfit's debut is a furious display of high-speed technical proficiency. 'Swamplord' is characterized by the constant interplay between blistering, neoclassical lead guitar work and prominent, sweeping keyboard melodies. It immediately cemented their standing alongside their regional contemporaries in the extreme metal scene.
