Album Notes & Community Reviews

Navigating a period of severe internal fraction and shifting musical landscapes, this ninth studio effort found the American progressive rock veterans leaning heavily into commercial, synthesized pop-rock. 'Drastic Measures' was primarily written by John Elefante and Kerry Livgren, resulting in deeply polished, Christian-themed AOR that completely abandoned their signature violin instrumentation due to Robby Steinhardt's departure. The controversial, slickly produced album alienated their original fanbase and precipitated the band's temporary dissolution.
