Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released just months after 'Song for America', Kansas' third album presented a slightly darker and more compact variation of their classically influenced, violin-driven rock. While it failed to achieve immediate commercial success, the complex musicianship and epic compositional scope paved the direct way for their massive mainstream breakthrough the following year.
