Bully

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kanye West's 'Bully' merges hip hop with funk and soul, built upon spare, sample-heavy compositions that recall the sonic textures of '808s & Heartbreak' and 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'. The album is distinguished by its unconventional production and release; it prominently featured artificial intelligence for vocal deepfakes and stem separation in its early versions, with West largely singing instead of rapping. Its chaotic rollout included multiple delays, the release of work-in-progress versions, and different tracklists between physical and digital editions, solidifying its place as a much-discussed entry in his discography.
