Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Sound Awake' marks a significant evolution from the band's debut, shifting to a more collaborative and progressive rock sound defined by longer, intricate song structures and complex polyrhythms. Produced by Forrester Savell, the album is noted for its polished, layered production that highlights the band's dynamic arrangements and detailed musicianship, retaining an alternative metal core while exploring more atmospheric and melodic textures. The sprawling, 72-minute opus solidified the band's critical and commercial success, showcasing a blend of heavy, bottom-heavy riffs and soaring, emotive vocals.
