Album Notes & Community Reviews

Initially conceptualized as a dual release before being merged, this instrumental opus bridges the gap between traditional jazz drumming and Dilla-inspired sampler mastery. Riggins, an accomplished jazz percussionist, manipulates chopped soul fragments over unquantized, organic drum grooves. The brief, interlocking beat sketches highlight a profound reverence for hip-hop's foundational groove architecture.
