Album Notes & Community Reviews
Kassav' was formed in Paris by Pierre-脡douard D茅cimus and Freddy Marshall of Les Vikings, soon joined by Georges D茅cimus and guitarist Jacob Desvarieux. 'Love and Ka Dance', their debut, fused gwo ka, biguine, cadence-lypso and compas into the first full statement of zouk, the genre the band is credited with inventing.
