Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Jacob Desvarieux and recorded in Paris, Vini Pou is a zouk record with five singers backed by Earth, Wind & Fire's horn section, its rhythmic, groove-laden arrangements defining Kassav's French Caribbean sound. It was the band's first record widely distributed in the United States, supported by a North American tour as a sixteen-piece.
