Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a distinct shift toward prominent electronic and keyboard integration, this record deepens the Swedish band's signature gothic doom into sleek, modern alternative metal. Jonas Renkse's incredibly clean, despairing vocal melodies float over chugging, down-tuned guitars and subtle trip-hop drum loops. It successfully captured a dense, nocturnal atmosphere that alienated some purists but broadened their crossover appeal.
