Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following their universally acclaimed debut, the Canadian sisters deliver another exquisite set of deeply traditional, harmonically rich folk music. The recording strongly reflects their unique cultural heritage, featuring several tracks sung entirely in French alongside eclectic instrumentation like accordions and button boxes. It avoids the polished studio sheen of contemporary 70s folk-pop, retaining a remarkably intimate, front-porch warmth.
