Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a heartfelt tribute to their Francophone heritage, 'French Record' features the McGarrigle sisters singing entirely in Canadian French. The album consists of translated favorites from their earlier English repertoire alongside traditional folk covers and new compositions. Their immaculate vocal harmonies and roots-oriented acoustic instrumentation render it a vital document of modern Qu茅b茅cois folk music.
