Album Notes & Community Reviews
Australian artist Katie Dey continues her exploration of densely layered, highly emotional pop music on 'Never Falter Hero Girl'. The album heavily utilizes pitch-shifted vocals and maximalist synthesizer arrangements, occasionally bursting into chaotic noise-pop crescendos. The deeply personal lyricism addresses queer identity, romance, and digital alienation with radical vulnerability.
