Album Notes & Community Reviews
Seeking to rebound from professional setbacks and personal depression, the pop superstar conceived this sixth album as a deliberate return to bright, optimistic dance music. Despite the heavily stylized clown aesthetic and upbeat choruses, the lyrics frequently acknowledge the grueling emotional journey required to find her smile again.
