Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a direct sequel to his acclaimed previous release, the celebrated Japanese guitarist reunites with drummer Bill Bruford and bassist Jeff Berlin for another highly technical fusion session. The instrumental interplay is incredibly precise, balancing driving, uncommon time signatures with lush, atmospheric synthesizer textures. It captures the pristine, highly polished aesthetic of late-eighties contemporary jazz.
