Romantic Works

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed British singer-songwriter completely abandons vocals and traditional song structures, delivering a heartbreakingly beautiful, entirely instrumental collection of modern classical compositions. 'Romantic Works' relies on incredibly sparse, delicately played piano and incredibly mournful cello arrangements, recorded intimately to capture the sound of the room. It serves as a profoundly sad, intensely calm, and deeply melancholic auditory experience.
